"Music is what feelings sound like.”

Jamie grew up listening to the classics. Determined that she would know what “good music” was, her mother raised her on Journey, Boston, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Van Halen. Her father, one of nine children – all of which play instruments, sing, or both – also brought a strong musical influence to her life, and always encouraged her to develop her singing abilities. Jamie joined choir in high school, but really discovered her love for singing and performing when a friend dragged her on stage to sing country karaoke. Through the encouragement of friends, family, and fellow singers, she began looking for other avenues to widen her musical horizons, which brought her to Sirens.
